BEAUTY
When it comes to my beauty routine, I like to keep things simple and very natural looking. I broke down my everyday makeup routine in this post where I talk about everything I use for a glowy look. I absolutely love the Ilia Skin Tint for weightless coverage it’s the only foundation I wear, and this liquid highlighter is stunning and gives you that ‘I just got back from vacation’ look. I also recently got the Ilia finishing powder and OMG it’s perfect and doesn’t dry out your skin.
Hourglass is one of my favorite beauty brands so it’s a great time to tock up on your faves or try some new things. The concealer, mascara, brow pencil, and lip oil are my everyday go-to. I also LIVE for a plumped lip instead of getting injections and I’ve been wanting to try this one as I’ve heard amazing things about it.
For a splurge-worthy investment, the Artis brushes are AMAZING! They apply makeup so well and are different than any other brushes I’ve used. If you’ve been wanting to try them, then don’t hold out any longer - you won’t regret it!
SKINCARE
Having a good skincare routine is SUPER important, especially as you get older. No amount of makeup will help if you aren’t taking care of your skin. I absolutely love the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads. They have lactic acid which is a gentle exfoliator that helps to improve skin texture. This overnight mask is another one of my ride or dies - super hydrating and feels amazing on the skin, you’ll wake up glowing.
It’s also a good time to stock up on self tanner. This is the only brand I ever use. I like to use the NuFACE Toning Device when I’m feeling like my skin needs a pick-me-up. It’s great for anti-aging and helps with fine lines and wrinkles.
HAIR
As I mentioned before, I decided to jump on the curtain bang bandwagon and decided to try out the Dyson Airwrap. I have to say, it totally lives up to the hype and has helped me style my new bangs. Plus, it’s less damaging to your hair so it’s a win, win!
When it comes to shampoo and conditioner, Olaplex is my go-to. It helps with damaged hair which is especially great if you’re like me and color your hair. I also use the Playa California Salt Scrub once a week to help with dry shampoo and product buildup. It restores the natural oil balance of your hair and feels so good on your scalp. This is my favorite dry shampoo at the moment, it’s great for when your hair is extremely dirty.
