Fall 2020 Trends
I have been loving a lot of the fashion trends this season and wanted to share my favorites with you. The preppy school uniform is definitely an overarching theme for this season’s trends mixed with a boyish flare. TREND: PREPPY SWEATERS
A trend I’m really loving this fall is the preppy sweater vest. It gives me 1990s Princess Dianna vibes and my favorite way to style it is over a white t-shirt. I also love styling a sweater by tying it over my shoulders. This preppy country club vibe is so chic, not to mention, convenient if you’re like me and always get cold.

TREND: KNEE-HIGH BOOTS
The shoe of the season is definitely the knee-high boot. I love a square toe and a low heel that ties into the preppy trend, but I’ve also seen them with a chunky platform sole which gives an edgy look to your outfit.

TREND: CHAIN NECKLACES
Even if I didn't have my own jewelry line, Aureum, I’d be talking about the chain necklace trend. You already know how much I’m obsessed with styling chunky chains with sweaters, blazers, and even plain t-shirts. I’m also big on investing in good quality pieces like this one that will last a long time and make an outfit look polished and sophisticated.
TREND: COLORED LENS SUNGLASSES
Having colored lens sunglasses is a great way to try a trend without having to invest too much. If you have a neutral wardrobe like me, this trend is perfect for experimenting with colors which will give your outfit more interest.

TREND: 70s PRINTS
Kendall Jennar paved the way to this trend after wearing a bright green psychedelic House of Sunny dress. Now, I’m seeing a lot of 70s prints, angel prints, and pops of neon. If you’re not into bright colors or prints, you can achieve a similar look with a neutral tie dye piece.

TREND: BAGGY & OVERSIZED
A huge trend I’m seeing this season is oversized everything. Think 90s grunge. To achieve this look, you can raid your dad or boyfriend’s closet to see what pieces you can borrow from them. Or, shop men’s clothing online and don’t forget thrift stores. My favorite way to style this look is wearing oversized leather jackets or pants.
